Our Vision

To glorify God by preaching the word of faith. To win souls to the family of Christ Jesus. To nurture them to Christian maturity in the church and to the outer world

Our History

Pastor Sam Appoh founded Christ Army Charismatic Ministries in February 2005, while serving in the British Army. During this period, Pastor Sam heard God's call to establish a ministry and sought to bring people closer to the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. The church began as a small gathering of family members at the Community Centre in Dalton Barracks, where Pastor Sam and his family laid the foundation for a vibrant, Spirit-filled community.

Inspired by his faith and the Pentecostal tradition, Pastor Sam envisioned a church that would embody the dynamic, supernatural power of God as seen in the early church in the book of Acts. From the start, Christ Army Charismatic Ministries actively embraced the gifts of the Holy Spirit, including speaking in tongues, prophecy, healing, and evangelism. The ministry aims to help people grow to spiritual maturity within the church and the wider community.

As the church grew, so did its influence. What began as a small family fellowship quickly became a diverse and passionate congregation. Christ Army Charismatic Ministries became known for its dynamic worship services. Believers experienced the presence of God in profound and life-changing ways. The church’s commitment to empowering believers and equipping them to serve in their spiritual gifts and practical ministry fuelled its steady growth.

Over the years, the ministry expanded its outreach efforts, spreading the Gospel locally and internationally. It invested in community programs and international evangelism, living out its call to make disciples and transform lives. From its humble beginnings in a community centre, the church has become a beacon of hope, faith, and love for people from all walks of life.

Today, Christ Army Charismatic Ministries stands as a vibrant community of believers. They are united by a common goal: to live out the Great Commission and bring the Kingdom of God to earth. Rooted in the Spirit and guided by faith, the church remains committed to building strong relationships. It offers Spirit-led worship and impacts lives through the power of the Gospel.

Our Believes

At Christ Army Charismatic Ministries, our faith is grounded in the Bible and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, every individual can experience God’s grace, love, and the fullness of life.

  1. The Bible: We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God, providing guidance for all areas of life and faith.

  2. God the Trinity: We believe in one God, who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each plays a distinct yet unified role in the work of creation, salvation, and empowerment of believers

  3. Jesus Christ: We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, who came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. Through Him, we receive forgiveness and eternal life.

  4. Salvation: We believe that salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is available to all who repent of their sins and accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

  5. The Holy Spirit: We believe in the power and presence of the Holy Spirit, who indwells every believer. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live holy lives, bear spiritual fruit, and use spiritual gifts for the edification of the church and the world.

  6. Spiritual Gifts: We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit—such as speaking in tongues, prophecy, healing, and miracles—are active and available to believers today, for the building up of the church and the demonstration of God's power.

  7. The Church: We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, made up of all believers. Locally, we gather as a community of faith to worship, grow spiritually, serve others, and fulfil the Great Commission.

  8. Baptism and Communion: We believe in water baptism as a public
declaration of faith in Christ and in the celebration of Communion as a remembrance of Jesus' sacrifice.

  9. Evangelism and Mission: We believe in the Great Commission, calling us to share the Gospel with all people, making disciples of all nations, and bringing God's love to the world through service and outreach.

  10. The Second Coming: We believe in the return of Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom in full, and we live with the hope of eternal life in His presence.
